This Book is going to be one delicious piece of awesome, is what i thought going into this Book.
After all its written by Penny Reid, the go-to writer when in need of intelligent Romance with a side of hilarious and L.H. Cosway, the woman who wrote Painted Faces, in which she brought us a Paradise Bird so broken and beautiful, it felt like a gust of fresh, glittery air.
Real-life Annie is, in her own words, introvert, reclusive and shy whereas online Annie is silly, opinionated and craves attention and shes right!But shes also very broken, hurt and a mess.
Ronan is all about the Sport, he says what he thinks and does what he wants, he doesnt care at all about those Reporters and Paparazzi. But he cares for Annie, a lot.
The Moment Ronan meets Annie he´s fascinated, coming out of a bad relationship, he feels a little fun between the two of them is just what he needs. But in his pursuit of her, he gets to know her and the more he knows, the more he wants.
Annie is a beautiful MESS. Shes socially awkward to say the least and Ronan drags her straight out of her comfort zone and into his arms.
There is fun in this Book, sadness, emotional growth, anger and a lot of sexiness.Their relationship is not without obstacles and they are hilarious! I laughed out loud many times, as expected.
The voices theauthors used, the way this Book was written, the witty banter between the protagonists, i absolutely loved it all!
This is a 5 Star read for me and absolutely recomended.
Carnal Persuasion is the fourth installment in the Severed MC Series by Ava Manello and K T Fisher.
If you´ve read the previous Books you know that a lot has happened to our Boys and Girls here, they suffered bloodily and it is not over yet, a new powerfull enemy has appeared.
The story revolves around Cowboy and Lucy.
Cowboy has suffered so much loss, he is absolutely broken and is generally in a bad place.
Lucy is still trying to find herself but is very drawn to our broken Hero.
As Lucy and Cowboy slowly get on with eachother, their way is definately not without obstacles, alot of which are really funny...^^
Also Lucy just found a Job at the new Bar and the owner Declan is definately one to look out for in the future.
All in all a quick, light read for me with some good action but it wasnt as good as Severed Justice (Book #3),more like the first and the second Book in this series.
A solid 3 Star read for me.
Unexpected Fate
by Harper Sloan
Unexpected Fate is the start of a Spin-Off Series of the Corps Security Series.
This Story turns around the lifes of Dani Reid, Axel and Isabelle´s daughter and Cohen Cage, the ever Cape wearing son of Greg and Melissa Cage.
Dani has been in love with Cohen ever since she can remember but Cohen always fought his feelings for his Dani Girl (anything else would have gotten him total and utter destruction by the little princess´super protective Daddy dearest)
Now they finally grow closer than friendship but Cohens next deployment is imminent....
I loved Corps Security, i liked Unexpected Fate.
The Book was wonderfull but the heavy and long and plenty speeches and declarations...puh..
A bit much for my taste. Dont get me wrong, not all of the Book was like that but there were more than plenty.
This is a friends to lovers story and its beautifully done, romantic,with a good pace, nicely developed main and supporting characters. There were a lot of moments that made me laugh and smile and i especially loved that we got to see the old crew again and their Kids.
And steam....whew.. Lots and lots of it, seems lil Cohen with the Cape grew up! Oh my, he did indeed!
So girls get ready, youll hear some seeeeexy things ;)
This was a 4 Star read for me because i really liked the way the Story unfolds, the Characters interact, people grew up, it made me laugh and its simply a sweet read.
Nero

Nero and his friends are the Kings of Legacy Prep.
Elle and her friend Chloe are the bullied ones.
Elle works to help pay for her tuition and one night she sees something, she isnt supposed to.
Back at school Nero is suddenly interested in her, trying to spend time, get close and even helping her and Chloe with their bullies, making her feel safe.
She doesnt trust him immediately and far from stupid, she knows hes a Player.
Nero´s had it always easy with the girls but Elle seems to always be running in the other direction.
Nero
Nero is absolutely alpha, possesive to the max, secretly sweet and caring and very protective.
Elle
Elle is very intelligent, a bit of a smartass, caring, loyal and also very protective.
There are a few sexy-steamy scenes
But it takes a while to get really serious between the sheets. (Perfect timing, Nero, i gotta say! ;)
In the beginning they both struggle a lot, Elle with what she´s been trough all those years
and with what shes seen now.
Nero struggles with his commitement to the family and his growing attraction to Elle, shes different and he knows it.
Their story has very good development, the "side" characters are very interesting and intriguing,
they definately make you want to read their own storys.
Elle was the absolute star of this Book, shes more that just a hidden gem but a whole freaking treasure cave.
I loved how strong she was, she was freaked but didnt freak out, shes so smart and absolutely loyal,
they are perfect for eachother.
I actually had my eye on this Book for a while but didnt really want
to read it because the story is played out in High School and Ive not
been reading anything out of that era for a good long while.
But i freaking loved this Book!! I read this in one setting (meaning waaaay into the middle of the night)
And i need the next one NOW!!!! This Book doesnt need too much logic, its just that good.
Although its not too much out there either, just perfect for this storry.
5 Star read for me!!!
Obligation

Obligation is the 2nd installment of the Underground Kings Series and is about
Myla and Kai.
Myla had to leave her parents when she was very young because staying would put her life in danger.
She was given to a wonderful family and had a beautiful childhood until it wasnt beautiful anymore and she ran away never looking back.
Kai´s Family was very close to Mylas Parents and Kai, meeting Myla for the first time when they were still very young decided then and there that she was his to protect.
Which is why, when many years later, Mylas life is in danger again, hes able to come to her rescue.
For her safety Kai takes Myla as his Wife and what started as pretend soon becomes serious and real, but the danger is still present.
Myla
Myla is very sweet but definately no push over, shes strong, no nonsense and holds her own against alpha male Kai.
She is very much immediately attracted to this strong, protective Guy that saves her.
Kai
Kai is powerful, smart and does what needs to be done. Hes used doing things his way and will do whatever it takes to keep Myla safe because she is his peace.
Their story has good development, theyre immediately attracted to eachother but there is no instalove.
Though that said it gets super steamy.
They grow together and both make and learn from their mistakes, Kai is so very gentle with her, which is beautiful because its actually not in his nature. And even when he isnt, Myla is not taking any crap.
This is a 4 Star Read for me, their Story is really sweet and loving!
